Electronic Prescribing
Electronic prescribing is a digital social service aimed at the easy management, supervision, and consequently control of the medication‑prescribing process through a fully integrated platform. Citizens benefit from reduced difficulties in insurance coverage for prescriptions and enjoy a simpler process, especially regarding prescription renewals, while doctors gain a clear summary of the patient’s medical history.
If you are a doctor, you can access the platform by selecting the button below.

Personal Doctor
The Personal Doctor provides preventive and health‑promotion services, diagnoses health issues, and guides the citizen within the National Health System [E.S.Y.]. As the citizen’s personal health advisor, they are the first point of contact with health services, contributing meaningfully to their improvement. The institution of the Personal Doctor, which had been missing from our country, aims to ensure that all citizens enjoy comprehensive and continuous healthcare.
The Ministry of Health encourages all medical professionals in the country to participate in the Personal Doctor institution. To register, select the button below:

Cross‑Border eHealth Services Portal
Aiming to improve the quality of life of European citizens, the European Commission invites Member States to cooperate at a cross‑border level so that healthcare services can be provided abroad.
Greece contributes to the realization of this vision by preparing the National Contact Point for the cross‑border exchange of eHealth data. Through this system, a doctor based in Greece can access the patient summary of citizens from cooperating EU countries, while a pharmacist based in Greece can retrieve and dispense electronic prescriptions for citizens of cooperating EU countries who are visiting Greece.
Cross‑Border eHealth Services are available to Healthcare Professionals providing services in Greece through the National Contact Point for eHealth (NCPeH) Portal, which they can access using their individual login credentials for the National Electronic Prescribing System. These credentials are issued after completing the certification process in the Electronic Health Professionals Registry of IDIKA and are supported by a two‑factor authentication (2FA) mechanism.
